Santinelli International announces a new collaboration with CentroStyle, an optical supply company based in Varese, Italy.

The two companies have partnered to produce the eye-catching new product portfolio known as SIOS (Santintelli Int’l Optical Supplies), an elegant and colorful catalog of everyday items to fully stock any office or laboratory. The SIOS lineup includes everything from tools and equipment to frame parts and finishing supplies.

The centerpiece of the expansive SIOS lineup is the Lab Modular System, an innovative organization system for storing tools and repair components. Available as a series of kits or as a la carte offerings, the Lab Modular System uses color-coded tools and parts to help opticians find the right supplies based on frame type (standard, rimless, spring-hinge or specialty).

To introduce the new SIOS portfolio, Santinelli and CentroStyle have produced a “talking catalog” that instructs while it informs. Powered by QR code scanning technology, each SIOS hand tool in the catalog is linked to an online video that demonstrates its use. “It makes the catalog function as a continual reference source, and it can also be used when training new technicians,” said Santinelli. “It actually teaches you what tools to associate with the job you’re doing.”
